Logo updating

As we have shared with you on the Front Page about the MumbaiITPro Logo and Tagline finalization, we would like to as all of you our community members whether do you see the need for change in the Logo? We had our initial though of also adding a tagline but my thought have aligned towards having it as Connect + Share = Grow. The reasoning which you can find here. Do you feel a need for change in both the logo and tagline?
On part of the logo, we have received some of the attached creatives. In case you feel you can unleash your creativity and bring a better logo, do share them with us here and let the members select what they choose. Terms and Conditions and all other required details can be found here MumbaiITPro Logo and Tagline finalization. Still adding few details here as below:-

The logo should contain the following:-

* Include the phrase "MumbaiITPro USER GROUP"
* Following 4 colors need to be incorporated: Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow
* Should give essence of an IT Community
* Should be submitted in .eps or illustrator-file format
* Last date of submission is 25th November, 2009

The user submitted logo that gets selected, wins a copy of Windows Vista Business.

I agree with you Ashwin, the Tagline is excellent... however few samples of the Logo could be presented for a poll to the users before the deadline. I will be sending you my logo images before the deadline, I'm working on them right now

zsa: Sure, we are anyways open for user submission. In case required, we can extend the date of submission if we see more participation coming in. Based on which, we can then upload all the submitted logos for a poll and those with highest selected will be used.

So far are are seeing 5 off 5 votes requesting logo change which means is 100% as Yes, change is required. Let us wait for some more to participate.

I BELIEVE THAT ALL LOGOS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO YOU IN PRIVACY UNTIL THE END OF THE CONTEST DATE, AFTER WHICH NO SUBMISSIONS WOULD BE ACCEPTED... only after that should the designs be revealed and a POLL be conducted

Yes, thats the appropriate way. You may send them to info [at] mumbaiitpro.org and the best ones will be uploaded. We seek maximum participation.

I personally feel d current logo is really good n shouldn't be changed, (just my opinion )

Updated here are some of the best from User Submitted logos that we have chosen. Will be glad to hear from the community members on any suggestions that we could include in these logos and then they could go for a poll to select the best among all the logos.

I found the new options to be pretty cool..
My personal favorite would be the logo option # 6..
