5 Days to a Better Messaging Admin Training Progam

In followup to the overwhelming response to 7 Days to a better System Admin training program, MumbaiITPro user group is once again arranging a full training course on Better Messaging Admin that covers the complete overview to high level training on Exchange Server 2010. The messaging experts have come together in support to MumbaiITPro volunteering their time for this initiative. This training program invites a mandatory MCP certification and is an effort to provide the attendees the best training and all learning support from the experts, and to self-evaluate. The training also includes 1 day value added training on Lotus Domino for your messaging awareness. The trainings will be conducted between 3rd July and 31st July, 2010 across all weekends.

This training progam will provide you with the knowledge and skills to configure and manage a MS Exchange Server 2010 messaging environment. This course does not require previous Exchange Server experience, but does require that the students have significant experience in managing Windows Server and Active Directory services or Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). This course will teach you how to configure Exchange Server 2010, as well as provide guidelines, best practices, and considerations that will help you optimize your exchange server deployment

In addition to their professional experience, attendees of this training should have the following prerequisite knowledge:

  • Fundamental knowledge of network technologies including Domain Name System (DNS) and firewall technologies
  • Experience with the Windows 2003 and MS Win Server 2008 operating systems
  • Experience with Active Directory directory services in Win Server 2003 or Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) Win Server 2008
  • Experience managing backup and restore on Win Servers
  • Experience using Windows management and monitoring tools such as MS Management Console, Active Directory Users and Computers, Performance Monitor, Event Viewer, and Internet Information Services (IIS) Administrator
  • Experience using Windows networking and troubleshooting tools such as Network Monitor, Telnet and NSLookup
  • Fundamental knowledge of certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Basic experience with Windows Mobile

The course demands a mandatory MCP Certification in Exchange Server 2010. All help and support will be provided for clearing the certification. As usual there will be no charges for the training, however the basic amount of Rs. 3500 will be charged towards the food, and logistics for the entire course.
